Disney Tower of Terror 13k: Team Ugly Shorts!

[NOTE: I copied this entry from my sister's page. It's much ATF but post-dated with the time of the race. Anyways, Enjoy!]

Team Ugly Shorts! Cedric tries to run in the ugliest shorts possible. This was the best I could do.


We also made our own shirts.



This guy made his own "costume". Or maybe he just forgot the rest of his outfit.


After a 20 minute delay, the race finally starts close to 10pm. At least they did have some pre-race Halloween-ish AFI videos and "scary hotel" themed videos.


We're off!

We take a turn through some dirt roads and are joined by some escapees from a psych ward.


But we're soon out of the woods (LOL! Get it? Woods?) and we see a sign welcoming us runners!

It wouldn't be a race without the Mullets.


Afterwards, we rode the Aerosmith Rock and Roll Roller Coaster. We also rode the Tower of Terror. Hold on to loose objects! And while the "theming" was better than the Tower at Disneyland, I was ready to ride the Aerosmith coaster again! Three times! My new favorite ride. Apparently many other runners rode this as well.



The party ended at 1am, and so did we. 6:30am flight back to Baltimore for me. Boo.


We need some uglier shorts for the Disneyworld Marathon on Jan 13, 2008! Ideas?
