DISNEY: Contemporary Trip

[note: this entry is hella-ATF]

On the Sunday after the catering event, Pom and I made a quick run by Disney. We saved $11 on parking at the TTC...

Stitch, remember where we parked
...then headed to the Contemporary via the Resort Monorails.

The Grand Floridian
Magic Kingdom
Space Mountain
The Contemporary Resort
We were going to eat lunch at the Concourse Steakhouse but nearby there was a little girl guarding the results of an unfortunate protein spill, and was Pom's deal-breaker with that lunch plan.

We very briefly toured the inside of the hotel -- went to a lower level then back up to the near-complete merchandise area.

Hallway
New Store
We then headed back to the Monorail, spotting the 5-legged goat along the way.

Count Them

We thought about going to the Polynesian for lunch, but decided to jump off at the TTC and head back into town instead.

It was nice to be back on Disney property, but I sensed a level of familiarity I've hoped I'd arrive to in a few years.

We decided on Pei Wei's. In the parking lot was Ikea's Mobile Living Room.

A Room with a View
Afterwards I headed back home early. I pretty much crashed, and that was my Sunday.
