Anyways, when I got home, the weather was cooperative, so I got the lawn done before I had a chance to complain and talk myself out of it (and I did it in my ugly shorts). Forty minutes later there was one less thing to worry about this weekend.
Clouds started to gently gather overhead. I could beat it, so I took off. It sort of felt like Wednesday when I didn't "have time" to stretch, but I was feeling better than then (no ipod to bounce with).
I ran the first mile in 7:05 then a negative split... 6:15 for the second mile. Shut the front door! I'm not sure if even I believe it. It's been forever since I've run that fast. I guess it helps not taking 5 days between runs. [center]
Home, I went right into making dinner (some "Breaded Chicken Dark Meat Chunks" from the Angel Food Ministries deal) which turned out Delicious (note the capital 'D') with Deal or No Deal in the background. [right]
After eating, I started a load of laundry before hopping into the shower. Next I went to the computer to work on recording some running club documents. I saw my friend Chuck online then looked at movie showtimes. We scheduled to meet for the 10:00p showing of Gone Baby Gone.
I decided to actually leave on time and started a second load of laundry before I left. I'm going to blog it, so I'm not going to go on about it here, except to say that it's Really good (note the capital 'R').
Anyways, it's almost 1:00a EST (Woot!), and my eyelids are closing for the night.
