This morning I went for a long run. It was another case of "run before I have a chance to complain". The weather was much cooler than recent mornings. I ran with music (grammar girl then universe of energy) and it was a good run. I still had to take a number of walking intervals, but it was fine as I didn't carry water.
I used the opportunity to explore new roads, notably Stadium Parkway and the extension to Judge Fran Jamieson Way. I made it to the Eason Landings development, did a loop, then turned headed home. My knee bothered me a little but nothing I couldn't get endure.
After the run, I washed the car by hand because it's cheaper... I mean "more from the heart", then vacuumed it, then headed in to warm up some breakfast, shower, and fold clothes. I also made a trip out to recycle an old car battery and some used motor oil, pick up a apple slicer at BB&B and a raspberry boba tea from Asian Too.
Since then, I've also fried some more of those Battered Chicken Dark Meat Chunks (which are Absolutely DELICIOUS! (where can I get some more?!)), made Mac & Cheese, and some Oatmeal-Craisin cookies (which were not so good).
