JOURNAL: Orlando Ikea

Today I had lunch plans with a friend in Orlando and had a couple hours free beforehand, so I made the pilgrimage to the Ikea that just opened in Orlando.

I got there just as the store opened so there weren't crowds and crowds. And so I decided to treat myself to some of their food. I had the Small Breakfast - consisting of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon - which only ran me 99 cents! so I added a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun for $1.50 more.

all this for $2.63 $2.11!

I've been to the Ikea near my sister's house a number of times, and Orlando's was not very different except for the escalator and the feeling that this one was bigger.

I bought of my Ikea staples: toilet brushes, a set of scissors, a couple shoehorns... and then I bought a new office chair, rolling chair mat, and area rugs. I was surprised to get it all in the car:

but I did it!

This is probably TMI, but before leaving to meet my friend for lunch, I stopped by Ikea's restroom and discovered something interesting in their stalls... flushing options:

Anyways, my first trip to Orlando's Ikea was a very pleasant experience, and I'll be back soon.

you're welcome

UPDATED: no biggie, but I just found the receipt for breakfast and saw that they have me free coffee so breakfast was only $2.11 (wow!).
