After work, I headed down to Palm Bay for their fun run. Tonight, there were four of us: Dave, Joe, Olga, and me. And it was chilly outside, chilly enough to pull out a light jacket from the car trunk.
We ran the usual course: Port Malabar Road then up Troutman Blvd, turn around right before Palm Bay Road. The sidewalk along Port Malabar was dark, and the sidewalk along Troutman has some holes, but nothing we couldn't manage.
I ran in the shoes I bought on my recent visit to my sister (note to self: post shoe pic here). Anyways, I finished in a respectable 21:50... pretty damn good for just having run a marathon.
On the way home, I stopped by Chic-fil-a to use a coupon for a free chicken sandwich (which I enjoyed as I rode 95), then I went to Wendy's to use a coupon for a free kid's meal. Using coupons and having a delicious free dinner that I didn't have to cook... nice.
Once home, I watched yesterday's American Gladiators online, and started setting up for a lot of blog entries (omg, SO much to catch up on). I should have some time to get those up this weekend. As for now, I should take a shower and get to bed "early", then it's back to staying productive.
Here are some pics from after the run:
plus the obligatory kitchen pic (messy floor):
