Nothing much. Just wanted to babble before I shower and prepare for bed.
It's been a long and tiring day. I put in a couple extra hours at work and was actually productive today, and very consistently so -- I tested my code changes and found some 'opportunities'. I then designed and implemented thoughtful and significant fixes. It's a long work week, so hopefully I can carry the momentum through. In addition to the ritual coffee break, I had a Toastmasters Officers meeting, a Telecon, and a "big order" Xin Da run.
I would've stayed later but had to get home to watch my American Gladiators.
The drive home was more anxious than I'd like. After such a good feeling, I was wound so tight and prone to road rage (I hate that light in front of work... it takes at least 3 minutes to turn green.). I just had to RELAX!.
Tonight's show was super-sized and better than expected. My favorite event of the night was Joust -- Titan and Crush are incredible! Wolf was hilarious, and I would've liked to see him take on Evan in Pyramid (after they did Hang Tough and The Wall together). I don't like the Bible-thumping Shanay, but after they showed Siene tear up, I knew it was over. Ironically, I'm going for the hunky Bible man in next week's match. As for tonight's men, there was no doubt that Evan was going to win. He has the strength, skill (ignore the Joust), and charisma to win it all and become the next American Gladiator, with RoadRunner would be an odd-but-appropriate choice of name. And for next week's women, I'm going for the soccer mom -- she reminds me of Sara Sidle from CSI; no doubt that she will win.
Anyways, that's tonight's ramble. I don't expect anyone to read this, but I just like having it out there. It's another post. They all can't be winners.
