Today, I've been taking it easy. I slept till 10 then began running my errands: got a couple 6-pack toothbrushes from the dollar store, a new edger blade from HomoDepot, mailed letters at the post office (I charged 9 cents to my VISA!), then shopped for groceries at Wal-Mart.
This week, I've been concerned about getting back into shape -- into the habit of running -- and in combination with work, have been feeling under the weather health-wise... sore throat and headaches. So I am shifting my focus from running and work to eating better and getting enough rest. The running will just have to wait.
So in that spirit, I'm going to try to cook more food myself and to bring to work -- the food from cafeteria food has make me sick a couple times in the past couple weeks.
And since I'm not pressuring myself to Orlando this weekend/today, I've made the meatloaf featured in the KraftFoods magazine I got in the mail yesterday. It was as easy as it was advertised, and it actually looks like the picture in the magazine. It good, but needs a little more flavor... nothing ketchup couldn't fix!
Anyways, that's lunch and dinner for the rest of the week.
And instead of running, my goal for the Goofy Challenge (marathon-and-a-half) is just to finish, and will allow myself to totally race-walk both events. In the meantime, I'm going to try to see if I can't wake up early and get in a session of Tae-Bo before work instead of coffee.
