Tonight, we ran 1/2 mile repeats with 2-minute rests at the Melbourne BCC parking lot. 6pm, and it was friggin' dark. I ran with Jamie and Paul again. Two warm-up laps, then we got going. 3:15, 3:16, 3:14, 3:15, 3:09, 3:05, 3:17. I ran the last one with John. Then, we did two cool-down laps. It was a solid practice, but my right knee was/is bothering me again. The PT was thinking yesterday that it's patella tendonitis. Paul suggested that it's a sprain - from running the corners... which I think makes more sense. They both told me ibprophen and icing it, but Paul also suggest refraining from fried foods for a couple weeks. It's worth a shot. I also noticed that I'm biting the inside of my mouth more tonight... that's not good. I'll prepare a salt-wash and be sure to also work the mouthwash tonight. It's all about taking care of oneself.
Okay, so I'm getting more and more motivated at work. I'm getting used to the quiet and the slow but steady preparation with the coding... maybe I'm also a kicker when it comes to work(?). Yay... and just like running, it's taken me How Long to figure this out? All it takes is faith.
Anyways, I'm sure there's something more that I'm wanting to write about but just can't think of right now. I'm up in the air about Orlando tomorrow. I will probably stick it out here in Melbourne... maybe get some extra hours in... I could easily make overtime if I work through tomorrow...
oh, that's it...
I go through phases... dinner parties, movies, running, drag shows, tea house, tv, and most recently Disney. I think that I've passed that stage. It's back to running, but in addition... Blogging! (Of course). What's next? Who knows... I'm guessing an emphasis on music... choral and piano. TV's on the wane. Asides from Heroes, Ugly Betty, and Grey's Anatomy, I don't have much desire to follow any show very intensely... Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, Lost, CSI, The Office have all disappointed me this season. They've really got to get their heads back together.
Anyways, asides from shower and food. I'm thinking piano, working some arms, and perhaps sending out pictures from last weekend's race. Then bed and WORK! (yeah, semi-excited... is that scary?).
Yeah, no... no TMI in this entry. Sorry. And sorry, no food pictures today. I'll try to cook something for y'all tomorrow.
