Tonight, I went to the Holiday show at the Henegar Center. My friend Emily was performing in the ensemble chorus extravaganza. I say 'extravaganza' because they went through pretty much every Christmas song I could think of. It was a good show. It was a long show. But it was a good show. The women were in dresses; the guys in tuxes/suits. Emily looked really really good. I sat with our friends, Cynthia, and the three of us go back to when we all moved down here three-and-a-half years ago... it's amazing to see where we each are now: Emily with her theatre and her self-determination, Cynthia with her travels and business development work, and me with my running and my gayness... Anyways, here's a picture of the three of us (l to r: Cyn, Em, Ced):Afterwards, Emily went to a cast party, and Cynthia and I went to Bennigan's to have dinner... buy-one-get-one-free burgers with online coupon... mmmmm... the burgers were actually really juicy and really good. It was nice to catch up with going-ons.
I also showed Cynthia how to make a collared shirt using dollar-bill origami. I think that I've learned that for life, much like the three-buddhists-get-to-heaven joke from Paul.
Anyways, it's cute, and it's a cooler way of tipping someone than just handing them the money. After Cyn dropped me off by my car, I headed to the post office and mailed my little sister's Christmas gift, then headed to work...
Yes, work.
I put in three good hours and got my code to work. The rest of the week will be a lot of testing/documentation.
I'm anticipating a possibility of drama this week, and we'll all have to wait to see how my heart takes it. I talked to my older sister, and yeah, she reminded just how gay I was by the allusions to Grey's Anatomy I was using... I'm so gay.
Anyways, I'm heading out to Wal-Mart right now to buy the ingredients for the million green-bean casseroles I'm making this week... then coming home and watching The Amazing Race before bed. G'night.
PS: I looked fabulous this evening.

A 5-dollar collared shirt would be cooler.
