Tonight was an easy going night. I ran with Paul, and we did:
1/2 mile warm-up
1 mile @7:15
1/2 mile @3:15
1/4 miles @1:28, 1:28, 1:26, 1:22
1/2 mile cool-down
Not too bad. I was feeling the energy from a couple days of rest, but I also knew that I wasn't ready to push myself again.
The moon was friggin' gorgeous tonight... both at practice and once I got home. I stepped out of my car to take some pictures and there was a couple walking down the sidewalk with their camera. Here are the pictures from the BCC parking lot (the moon was so crisp and the parking lights made for nice stars):
The calmness of the evening was blistfully eerie.
Today, work was more industrious than usual but even with the meds, I was having a difficult time focusing for some reason. I think that I need more direction from supervisors but I'm finding that regardless, it takes a lot of self-motivation. So where do I get motivation? Food, of course...
Downtown Produce, not far on Ellis, is where I go for a my chocolate chip muffin and my fruit smoothie w/protein powder. I finally had the camera in the car to take a picture of the delicious thing:
-- it's so thick!)
Today, I also managed to drink a Lot of water. I like my officemate because he endures my odd nature. Still, I keep feeling like I should be further along than I am. I guess I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing until someone tells me otherwise *shrug* (I also kind of figure that as long as I'm entertaining, I'm still a plus to the group...).
And completely non-sequetorially...
Yesterday the flat-panel LCD computer monitor was waiting for me when I got home:
So I set that up, then watched the finale of The Bachelor:Rome I was transfering to VHS, and I set up my Christmas tree...
Anyways, that's about it for now. Shower and bed awaits!
