Thanksgiving FFF 2007

We all spent Thanksgiving at Cedric's house in Florida this year.

Nothing special. Just hung out and played games: Rummikub, Dominoes, and Mah-Jongg (of course).

Dogs' eye view of the mah-jongg action.

Camille likes to be in pictures. Where's Camille?

With Mom and Dad,

Chris and Jin,

Cindy and MooShu.

Mom cooked everything with ingredients imported from South Carolina.

Thanksgiving morning Cindy & Cedric run 10-miles in Deland. Thanksgiving dinner is almost ready when they return. What a spread! Mexican Corn pie, Caribbean Sweet Potato Casserole, Abalone, Green Bean (and carrot) casserole, Stuffing, Meat Roll, and Cranberry Relish.

And Turkey!

Don't forget dessert! Hummingbird cake, pumpkin pie, oatmeal-chocolate-chunk-cherry-pecan cookies, and almond jello with lychee.

We ate...a lot.

Lots of napping post-turkey as you can imagine.

Team captain Camille leads the charge through the Black Friday ads. We had 7 people in 3 teams hitting the stores with shopping lists.

Thanks to a practical joke by Pom and Mike we were out the door by 4:15am Friday. Good thing though. The lines were long. We were done by 7:30am. Cindy went with Chris and Jin. Chris got dropped off at Best Buy. Cindy and Jin went to Circuit City. Circuit City is on the left and then then entrance is half-way down. We were number 420 and 421!

More napping, then more eating. A late lunch at Asian Too in the Avenue.

Noodle soup and Bourbon Chicken

Mt Fuji (mayonnaise) roll and Rainbow roll

And Lychee Bobo tea slushies.

Fortune says what?

Then more shopping. Cedric can help you with your "package".

I find some "ornaments".

Mike finds a monkey to touch.

And because we're Asian...more picture-taking.

Then we all pile in Cedric's Camry...

to eat more food...

Dad is happy.

This is what happens when Chris drinks ONE beer.

Dessert: halo-halo. Red beans, coconut squares, coconut strings, corn, shaved ice, milk, ice cream, and a cherry.

One more breakfast and...

The End(s).
