This morning, I let myself sleep in (10 AM), then I finished watching Transformers, then I went to visit Chuck and say hi to the cats!...
...then went to have lunch at Fujiyama, both to use up a gift certificate and to get both of us out of our houses.
He ordered the steak teriyaki and I got the chicken tempura (we didn't do hibachi this time), and it was a lot of food.
Afterwards, I headed back home, but like the case lately, I made a stop by the Brevard Zoo. This time I brought Sweetie Bear and all of the animals were out.
It was a short visit (about 40 minutes), but it was a nice, refreshing one.
After I got home, I mowed, edged, trimmed, swept, and fertilized my lawn, then went for a run. And after that, I made cooked pasta, did a load of laundry and posted a couple blogs...
... all in the name of procrastinating a Toastmasters speech. I've changed topics a couple times during the course of the weekend, but now I think that I have one that I like. There should be a wager on whether I'll give the speech or end up chickening out. I don't want to set a bad example either way. Anyways...
It's been a busy Sunday. I'm kinda glad that I had it here in Melbourne instead of Orlando, where I'd be tempted to spend more money at Ikea or driving around with no real purpose. I'm glad to be able to get some house work done (more still need to be accomplished but every little bit helps).
Anyways, it's a short but packed week at work, then hopefully the weekend will be non-plussed -- I think that I need to build up some restlessness with the sedentary life before I can really appreciate the luxury of traveling.
Alright, time for bed. Good night.
