I was just looking for information about this weekend's Come Out With Pride Orlando, and I came across a link to my friend's tea house, which is hosting a Pride Week Art Exhibit. And what do you know? They have a new website!
(opens in a new window/tab)
It's amazing how far they've come in a couple quick years. When my friend started, her relied only on word-of-mouth and a MySpace page (still active). And in a town like Orlando, word travels fast when there's a place that offers something delicious, different, and daring. And it's the people at the tea house that keeps people coming back -- not only the friendly staff who has the greatest personalities, but also the wide range of clientele. Gays, straights, artists, politicians, drag queens, business people, club-goers.
I'm so proud of her and everyone at the shop! <3

Anyways, below is an abridged version of this weekend's event schedule (I didn't include the concerts at the local gay clubs).
