MOVIE: Quantum of Solace

Tonight, right after work, I went to go see the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace at the Rave.

I'm feeling incapable of putting thoughts in words, and then putting those words in a meaningful order, so here's random below thoughts movie:

definitely more action than in Casino Royale but story was still very good.

the tight editing (a la Bourne) of the opening car chase and of the other early action sequences were too jarring for me.

the bad guy in this film, Dominic, kinda looks like Le Chiffre from CR, except with a little Sam Rockwell.

I didn't know white, button-up dress shirts could show off a muscled chest... niiice (good job and thank you to both Tom Ford and Daniel Craig).

I love the end credit music -- "Crawl, End Crawl" by Four Tet; wanted to buy it but not available on iTunes or anywhere else. UPDATED: A nice-quality-ed version is now available on YouTube (listen below!).

after I left the theatre, I wanted to go for a run as is... in my jeans and polo; I was jealous of all the exercise 007 was getting.

Anyways, I didn't go for a run, but I did go home and applied Bonus S to my yard in the dark. Then I heard other people outside... at night? Oh yeah, the Shuttle Launch!. It lit up the sky, but only briefly.

I also was able to catch up with my across-the-street neighbors, which was cool. Zadie even gave me a Lychee-flavored Japanese marble soda drinks. Thank you Zadie!. I gave her and Willow some Yan Yan.

Anyways, I'm not sure which DC Bong film I like more quite yet. I like them both for different reasons, and I suppose time will tell. I though this was a very competent sequel.
