JOURNAL: Coffee -- Day 2

Running at 10:00 at night probably wasn't the best idea in the world. I didn't get to bed until just after 1am, but thankfully my body's has grown temporarily accustomed to waking up early so 6:55am it is... enough time to turn off all three alarms on my cell phone.

I haven't been piddling around the house too much in the morning so far this week... so I've managed to get to work early enough without feeling a rush. This morning, it was David Sedaris' "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim". And at the office, it's Anderson Cooper's "Dispatches From The Edge". I also borrowed Hillary Rodham Clinton's "Living History". So many hours of audiobooks... but it's keeping me level.

It's my second consecutive day of coffee consumption. It messes up my system, and it wreaks havoc on the inside of my mouth but I'm still drinking it. It supplements the non-Lynetted meds (I'm being responsible). Tonight I will seriously need at least 10 hours of sleep to function the rest of the week. This is going to be rough since tonight's a planned long run. Thank goodness that there's no real need to watch tv until Thursday.

Okay, time to put that coffee to use.

Yay! Audiobooks! Shawn & I, uh I mean anonymous & anonymous, listened to the Google Story on audiobook riding back from SC, uh I mean from an undisclosed location. Made time pass quickly, was very interesting and held our interest.
