After watching The Golden Compass, I went back for another movie - No Country For Old Men. This movie won the first movie award of the season, the National Board Of Review, so I had to go watch it.
First of all, for the majority of the movie I had my hands either in front of my eyes or covering my ears (my eyes were closed if the latter), not because of Javier Bardem's psycho haircut.

The movie's suspenseful and gory (it doesn't just tease). It was also very clever - I'm not good at giving movie summaries, so you'll have to find that somewhere else - but I could see how it could take a/the top prize, though at the moment, I'm still for Gone Baby Gone with a few more to see: Juno, Michael Clayton, Once, and Atonement.
Bah, NCFOM was such a dark film. I really considered going to the 10:15pm Enchanted, but that'd be too late night. Okay, time to pack for tomorrow.
