JOURNAL: LongDoggers and Juno with Chuck

Today I allowed myself a late start (10:00am) - I wanted a sleep-refresh. Then I got on my computer and saw my friend Chuck online. We made plans for lunch and a movie. I finished my ironing before heading out.

A quick 'hi' to the cats...

Then we were over the causeway and having lunch at LongDoggers. The atmosphere, food, and service were really good. Chuck had the High Life Hot Dog, and I had the Dog Day Platter (footlong) with onion rings.

We then headed to the Satellite Beach Cinemas to catch the 1:30 showing of Juno. I've already seen it but it was Chuck's first time. He really enjoyed it, as I knew he would, and I found that the second showing held up - I even got a little choked up halfway through (I'm now pulling for Jennifer Garner for a Best Supporting Actress nod). Anyways, after the movie, we just headed back.

On my way home, I decided to make a visit to the Brevard Zoo since my annual membership expires soon (though I'll probably still renew). And it was nice escape.

Anyways, after I got home, I went for my run, and now I'm preparing for the long (5-day) week ahead.
