This morning, I had a purposed late start (9 AM). It's an easy-going weekend with no pressures for Orlando because I had local obligations and a new-need just to "nest" here in Melbourne -- to reconnect with my hometown and the people here.
Anyways, so I headed over to my friend Chuck's with lunch (McDonald's) to play some RockBand -- he recently bought it to expand his talents. And for the record, I am not trying to sabotage his Muddy Buddy training.
So yeah, RockBand is just like Guitar Hero except you can also play the drums and sing (yes, sing) -- both of which I've found I suck at. I don't like their "hit this now" indicator which is too close to its "bonus power" indicator (it's confusing and can suck it). It was still kinda fun -- probably still needed beer to get over my self-consciousness.
Alright.
So... it was a quick visit -- a little more than 1 hrs -- but then I had to head into town for the Area 59 Toastmasters Contest (next blog entry).
